What We Offer

Our Services

We provide a full spectrum of energy management services, customized to your building
type and goals, from the initial audit through design, implementation, and long-term
performance verification.

Energy Auditing & Feasibility Studies

Finn Projects has developed an energy auditing procedure that captures
every factor affecting energy use and cost in a facility. Our audits follow
ASHRAE Level I, II, and III methodology and include Net-Zero Feasibility
Studies, tailored to each building.

What’s included:

Energy Baselines & EWRB Reporting

Ontario’s EWRB regulation requires owners of large buildings to report
energy and water use annually. Finn Projects handles the full process —
collection, weather normalization, and submission — and builds the
custom baselines that underpin any credible M&V program.

What’s included:

service3

Energy Modelling

Whole-building energy modelling lets clients evaluate retrofit scenarios
before committing capital. We build calibrated models using RETScreen
Expert, eQUEST, EnergyPlus, and HOT2000 to find the highest-value
path forward, and to support incentive applications and code
compliance.

What’s included:

Measurement & Verification

After a retrofit is complete, we confirm that projected savings are real.
We analyse utility billing data, deploy metering where required, and
produce formal M&V reports aligned to the IPMVP — giving owners,
program administrators, and investors documented proof.

What’s included:

service5

Engineering Design & Project Management

Full engineering design — drawings, specifications, and technical
documentation — for retrofits across industrial, commercial, institutional,
and multi-residential buildings, all stamped by a licensed Professional
Engineer. We manage the lifecycle from design through commissioning.

What’s included:

Utility Incentive Programs

Many efficiency projects qualify for incentives from LDCs, provincial
programs, or federal initiatives. We prepare, submit, and manage
applications on your behalf — and because we deliver programs for
utilities, we know exactly what administrators need to see to approve
funding.

What’s included:

DSM Program Delivery

Finn Projects delivers demand-side management programs in Ontario,
including commercial electricity conservation programs and technical
and regulatory support to local distribution companies and program
administrators — from custom measure development through post-
installation reporting.
